How many times have we been out in
miserable weather and had a great time time flying in spite of the
weather? Add Sunday 9 October to that list. The day was
overcast and cloudy, with a light mist near the end of the day, but
the GCRCC diehards put on a great flying show throughout.
Thanks to the mowing team for a
beautiful prep job on the turf, the field looked great; and thanks
to Bob Zeisler and his family for their excellent job at the grill.
Hamilton Hobbies provided a whopper
of a raffle prize: a H9 P-47 60 ARF, a Saito 100 4-stroke and a
Futaba T6 computer radio. This setup was won by Bobby Kidwell,
who is just learning to fly his trainer.
Here's the pics.
