Greater Cincinnati Flying Circus Show Team

The Greater Cincinnati Flying Circus Show Team is an AMA Charted Show Team number 9-169.  Our show team consists of all GCRCC members.  In 2005 we presented nine shows -- both static and flying.  Flying shows included the Flying Circus, Blue Ash Air Show and Grissom Air Museum Festival of Flight.  2006 will be another busy year.

Jim Dimitt was the founding manager.  Richard Kuns is the current manager.  Tom Burtin is the vice manager and announcer.

More information on AMA show teams can be found at their web site.

Besides the show, the team has several construction projects underway.  Jim Dimitt is leading the construction of a full and third scale Pteranodon.  A consortium of team members including Chuck Snyder, Barry Langefeld and Richard Kuns is constructing a replacement third scale Morane Saulnier A1.

To schedule a show or for more information, please contact the team manager.

FAST TRAC Certification
Fight Assessment Standards Test To Rate Aero Flight Competency

Starting in 2006 all show team members must have AMA FAST TRAC Certification.  Both a written and flight test are required.  The written test covers the AMA Show Team Guidelines and the AMA National Model Safety Code.  Links to the documents are below.  Please contact the team manager to arrange a flight test.  FAST TRAC Certification is good for three years.  All pilots and ground crew working at the Circus north of the spectator line should have this certification.
